Vanilla bedtime scent? .. maybe not.

I’ve had this for 7 months, but the first sneaky sniff test back then gave me burnt arm hair accord. So it’s getting its first real test drive. First impressions: verrrry sweet and saffron heavy. It’s a warm but bright spicy with the lemon, clove and saffron, a tease of smoky wood. More sweetness, caramel and cashmere coming through, some smoky vanilla. Maybe not the best pick for bedtime, definitely a complex and stimulating scent, but it’s on my skin now soooo.. 😬

    Ahhh yes burnt arm hair, a smell I know very well from reaching too close over a bunsen burner more times than I can count. Not something I’d want to smell like on purpose 😂

    I have a full bottle of this one and it’s one of my regret buys. It’s not bad per se but I never reach for it. Generally feels like a holiday scent for me.

      I’m still trying to get my head around it. I don’t hate it, it definitely intrigues me, but I don’t think it’s something I would wear either? 🤷🏼‍♀️

    I’m very grateful you posted this because I’ve had this exact bottle since Christmas and I didn’t know it was the extrait, I thought I had the EDP! The difference is the black top vs white top. I got it as a hand-me-down from my sis in law who got it in an advent calendar and it wasn’t her style. I really love it in the winter!
