Cheeky Vampire

Vassago is named for Prince Vassago, a good-natured demon described in demonological grimoires. It opens with sweet fruity notes of berries and orange. The fruitiness combined with the red wine and clove gives the impression of mulled wine. I would've confidently guessed that there is rose in here too, and though not listed, I stand by it. The notes include "a silver dagger", "a goblet of blood", and "a black mirror", and I'm thinking those fantasy accords might include a metallic rose note.

The mulled wine thing makes this a solid wintertime fragrance in my opinion. Fantôme describes Vassago as "unmistakably dark and gothic", which I don't fully agree with. To me, this is a fun and flirty take on a vampire fragrance. Sure, it's got a gothic twist, but it doesn't take itself too seriously. A charming vampire who will only bite if you say please.
