Ex Nihilo Decants

I've got four Ex Nihilo decants to discuss today. I've really been enjoying exploring this house.

Vesper Glitz - Sweet yellow florals, juicy tangerine, and vanilla. The Ylang ylang isn't too indolic and lends a creamy, fruity note, and the mimosa adds a gentle honeyed sweetness. The tangerine is so realistic I can taste the oil from the peel in my mouth. It's very comforting, soft, warm, and sweet. It smells like warm sunshine over a flower field. It's a little bit "basic" but it's done so well I can't fault it. 10/10 scent with good sillage and performance.

Devil Tender - A very light, very powdery rose. 60% powder, 30% rose, and the last 10% is citrus, pepper, and the idea of suede. It's very, very soft and clings to the skin almost from the first spray. Delicate, girly, and pretty. If you like powdery scents, this one is actually quite nice. 7/10 scent, with very intimate projection and decent performance.

Spiky Muse - Sharp, tart opening, very reminiscent of OG Delina, but softens quickly to a slightly fruity, dusty rose. If you like Delina, you'll probably enjoy this. It's got a tart, fruity top note (strawberry vs rhubarb, but similar) over rose, with some warming woods and quite a bit of pepper. To me, it's a rounder, spicier, fruitier Delina with less rose and worse performance. 6/10 scent with below average projection and performance.

Blue Talisman EDP - Mostly freshly squeezed, crisp pear juice, with bitter citrus, a touch of spicy ginger, woods, and musk. It's absolutely intoxicating and so refreshing. I can see why it's popular. 10/10 scent with good projection and performance.

On a side note, I much prefer Blue Talisman EDP to the Extrait. I tried the Extrait on skin at the perfume counter, but found it overly sweet. The Extrait is much sweeter and denser due to the vanilla, and loses the fresh quality that makes the EDP so special to me. It's not bad by any means, especially if you want something heavier, but my vote goes to the EDP!
