Heartbroken

As a vetiver head myself, I wanted to love this one. On paper, it checked all the boxes of what I usually love in perfumes: woody, vetiver, spicy. I was so hyped up when I saw this in the mall last Sunday.

From the first spray, I was greeted with the smell of stank body odor from caraway. Then it dried down to a sharp aromatic scent (probably from clove?) and woody vetiver, which I quite like... if it weren't for the opening.

At first, I tried to be polite and thought to myself, "Maybe it's just my brain associating this smell with a stank body odor." And gaslit myself into believing my nose can get more mature and grow to love it. But the next day I hailed a cab at 5 in the morning and the driver came unshowered, and he smelled EXACTLY the same as this scent's opening.

Nope. I can't do this. This one is not for me.
