Ride or die Fruity-Flormande

This is my signature scent so I really need to do this girl justice!

Half of me wants to say this fragrance is terrible so that I'm the only one who will wear it, it's that good. Bit of an "oatmeal crisp commercial" situation in that regard. Let's get on to the review then!

To start with, this fragrance is categorized as a fruity floral gourmand. Right out of the gate, it somehow manages to hit three separate accords and that immediately fascinated me.

Does it hit them well? In my humble opinion, phenomenally.

Black currant is the very first note that my nose catches when I take a whiff of this after spraying. This fragrance somehow manages to be warm and alluring while also being fresh and sparkling. It balances the sweet, juicy mandarin, pomegranate and berry notes with the musky, spicier notes of vanilla, ambrette and ambergris. I don't get a lot of peach in this, so that note is definitely less prominent in this fragrance to my nose.

The bright bergamot note does an amazing job of tempering the florals in this so that they're not too overwhelming. I'm honestly not a big rose fan, but the Bulgarian rose in this is just beautifully done. The magnolia stays really light and the citrus really seems to give it a more "tangy" vibe.

The reason I ended up doing this review is because I applied this over 12 hours ago before bed. My partner adores this scent on me, so I wear it at night a lot. Waking up this morning, I could still smell warm ambery vanilla, with a whisper of fruity floral deliciousness.

The longevity for this bad girl is admirable and it had me reaching for it again first thing when I got up this morning, just so I can experience it again!

Finally, the presentation has to be applauded. This came in a stunning box with a magnetic clasp, the bottle is weighty, stunningly crafted and elegant without looking gaudy or overdone. I want to try the other two in this collection (Librae and Infina) just because the bottle is that lovely. Pure art. Even the atomizer has an engraved flower on it.

All in all, I would personally be hard pressed to find a more unique scent profile and bottle that suit me this well. I don't know if this is a safe blind buy for most people. I only know that it was for me!
