Vilhelm ParfumeriePurple Fig3.558 ratingsWore 3 different outfits today that all had some sort of purple, have fresh figs in the fridge, and also just got this new tea towel. Fig was on the brain so I grabbed this decant to sample for the first time; fig fail.
The jasmine overpowers everything and kills this frag for me. Such a bummer as otherwise I likely would have loved it based on the other notes!

I have been trying to introduce myself to the fig notes. The only one I like that I have smelled is Fig Erotique by Tom Ford-its a deeper Fig scent and more for Fall-Winter

I enjoy fig notes in a lot of fragrances, and will usually try to at least sample if I see something with a fig note listed, but sadly this one was a miss. Philoykos EDP is one of my all-time favorites and is THE classic full-fig tree fragrance IMO (but I totally understand not eveyone wants to smell like a tree, haha). Some of my other fig-favs that I have in my collection are Mareld, Sirius, Wulóng Chá, Father Figure, London 1983, and Fig Lemonade. I agree that Fig Erotique is definitely a better cold weather fig!
