This isn’t the usual fresh, clean and invigorating neroli, orange blossom and vetiver combo. For me, it’s a summer evening neroli. It’s strolling through Sorrento after the sun sets, holding hands with the other half, taking in the carefree vibes of a holiday. There’s the expected sweet citrus and florals, and lovely hints of green bitterness of crushed orange leaves from the petitgrain, but it’s the aromatic, ambery and resinous complex base that adds the smooth, opulent and sensual edge to this scent profile, slightly honeyed, creamy, woody and earthy. Different. Beautifully blended. With my nose being a complete whore for ambroxan, I suspected I would like this, but I really like this.

    Oh, I love me a good vetiver orange blossom combo! I've learned that while value of the materials used matters obv, BLENDING accounts for so much of how fragrances turn out (I loved discovering that 2 bottles can have the same notes listed, yet smell markedly different from one another❤️)

      I wouldn’t have described it as sunscreeny, but now with you power of suggestion I can get hints of that.. I with it’s how the vanilla and orange blossom is interacting with the other notes.
