I can totally understand that. I found Ani pleasant enough, and at first I thought Fan Your Flames was daring and interesting. Eventually, though, it shifted to being harsh and somewhat abrasive. I sold my partial bottle and kept a decant I haven't worn since.

I can't really put my finger on it... There's a bitterness to the base that doesn't agree with my skin chemistry. Plus, I don't know what the edp is like, but this one seems more masculine leaning to my nose. I don't mind that with most scents, except for freshies.

A lovely freshie for a hot day
Having tried both Wulong Cha and Wulong Cha X, I think I prefer the X for regular wear. Both are beautiful and refreshing, but I enjoy the delicacy of the magnolia in X.
