At the in laws for Sunday dinner

Very late posting and have so much to catch up with on WhatScent. Suffice to say I had a very good night out last night and was rather delicate this morning 🥴

I’ve had this decant for a few moths but only getting this on my skin. It’s a very nice fruity floral with a patch, woods and musky base. Soft, sensual, a little powdery. It’s a linear scent profile thats blended perfectly, sophisticated but quite delicate. Very nice. But that’s pretty much it. It’s not stunning to my nose. It does nothing to excite me, doesn’t give me eye rolls to the back of my head, feels a bit generic on my skin and I don’t feel like I need a bottle of this in my life. It reminds me of something I owned and wore In the past (maybe Trésor?) and I think, considering the price, I was expecting heaven itself to come spraying forth from the bottle.

Interestingly that other half has commented several times that I smell beautiful. He’s also asked several times what the perfume is called. This means he’s taking a mental note to possibly surprise me with a bottle.. I’ll let him discover for himself that it’s £490 ($656 USD) a bottle.
