A good everyday scent.

First impression: mostly orange and oud, with an alcohol-forward hint, and surprisingly the smell of new electronics, fresh out of the box, powered up for the first time. This isn't a bad thing, and maybe described as ozone? After dry-down, a scent pattern reminiscent of plants like juniper, the oud still prominent, a woody note, but the whiskey dropping out almost entirely. To be honest, it reminds me of an uncommon (and expensive) department store cologne that my grandfather would buy in the 70's, although I couldn't say what it was at this late date. Not a unique smell, but pleasant and inoffensive; it will be noticed. I have already received a couple of compliments.
