Too much fruit!

Finally met a Xerjoff I don’t like. If I didn’t know this was Xerjoff I don’t think I would’ve guessed it was. Smells like every other generic fruity white musk scent at Macy’s. Yes, the ingredients are higher quality. But it’s just super intense and obviously synthetic in a kind of Montale way (and I say that as someone who likes Montale). It has a little too much in common with fruity bubble tea or vape flavors. La Capitale also has some similar incandescently bright fruity notes but balances them better with a heftier leather/vanilla base that makes it more nuanced and interesting.
