Xerjoff sampling continues

This feels like a weird amalgam of 80s style barbershop fougere (big Barbasol shaving cream vibes) and a modern leather note that has the fruity chemical signature of TF Tuscan Leather. The combination works but it does have a strong nail polish remover scent, especially in the opening. Not sure who this is for since it’s a little too vintage for TF style neon aromachemical fans and also too modern for 80s powerhouse purists. On paper the gasoline leather and 80s fougere notes sound like they would result in something similar to Fahrenheit but this is distinctly modern and sweeter/smoother than Fahrenheit. I like it although not enough to buy a bottle. Maybe a decant down the line.
