We got the funk

Stanky? Yes. A stunning tribute to the infinite facets of oud. Also yes! This has several different kinds of oud, and you can tell - the funk is a mix of barnyard and cheesy alongside more traditionally woody smelling notes. Underneath the funk is a very sharp and clean cedar/cypress that complements the oud but in a much more restrained way. There is nothing in this really besides the woody notes, so of that doesn’t appeal to you there’s no rose or spices to soften the blow. But this absolutely smells like real oud and shows off a lot of different sides of the precious wood that you don’t always get all in one fragrance.
