Naxos, Naxos, Naxos. What is there to say that hasn't already been said? When I first tried it a few years ago, I clearly remember thinking, "ah, I get it now".

A sparkly dance between lemon and lavender - never sharp, but soothing, like slowly dissolving a herbal lozenge on your tongue. Honey that swells with a golden sweetness, laced with luscious floral softness and a touch of warm spice. Vanilla-infused tobacco, hay-warm and sun-baked, settling into a hazy rustic glow.

Naxos is an incredibly sensual scent - the rich sweetness and aromatic freshness melting together in a deeply alluring way. Despite being more popular amongst men, it smells utterly addictive on a woman's skin as well.

    Nice write up! Yeah it’s a freakin masterpiece! Reviews of Naxos must be in the air or something because I wrote and posted one at pretty much the exact same time you did!

      It's an otherworldly experience. I wish I could go back to that moment in my bedroom, where after over a decade of only experiencing designer scents and the occasional Jo Malone, I spritzed my tiny decant of Naxos and let out an audible gasp. Plenty of crackers have come along since, but in that moment Naxos set the new benchmark.

      I had a very similar experience when I sprayed Naxos for the first time! Kinda like I couldn’t believe it was real? I agree on the benchmark. It’s just so good

      How the sweetness can also feel so fresh is just something that titillates the senses. It's like when a Thai dish has perfectly nailed the balance of spicy, sweet, sour and umani - just a single chilli flake away from being too spicy, or a couple granules of coconut sugar away from being too sweet, but it's not, and it becomes something addictive.
