Olfactory House should be a stop for every fragrance enthusiast

After a day of running errands, my husband traveling several hours, and us barely making it on time to our book club/class, I am finally able to sit down and write a bit about this house!

My husband FaceTimed me while he was there this afternoon, and the owner walked us through each of their stunning fragrances. My husband’s nose made the final call on all of these choices (last picture), and I must say, he did a wonderful job!

Typically I want to smell sweet, pretty, fresh, delicious, and uncomplicated, but these have me wanting to smell like works of art, the memory of my grandmother, the Pacific Northwest, and gingersnap cookies. Smelling these was an emotional experience, especially Bits of Me, PNW Terrior, and Offsides. Each one of these fragrances deserves a proper review after a skin test, but for now, I’m falling asleep with a spray of Kitchen Sink’s 11th batch.

While I really enjoy my 57 other samples from a wide variety of houses, these six Olfactory fragrances are keeping my nose interested in a way other fragrances have not. Olfactory House’s owners are brilliant perfumers and I can’t wait to keep smelling their creations for years to come.

Total damage: 6 fragrances, 72mL, $128. 10/10 all around, and we are already planning another trip to Seattle just so I can come here!
