This smells so wonderful on my wife and on paper, but on me it is horrible. The labdanum comes through in the beginning with a slight smokiness. The aldehydes are soft & so is the musk. The vanilla is definitely the star here.

The notes are deceptively simple, with the sum being greater than the parts. As many fragrances that I have with a similar note composition, none are quite like this somehow. I do wish the vanilla liqueur was a tad more prominent, but it's a beautiful scent
