A couple more DQs

#first_impressions

Continuing to sample my new stash and this morning I sprayed Delicious Rice Milk Federico Cantelli, Tropiques Fragrance Du Bois, Akro Rise and love-o-Matic to strips. The latter one got immediately sprayed to my arm but the other three have been DQd from the race for various infractions.

Delicious Rice Milk is DQd for deceptive name. There’s nothing delicious about it. It may have tricked me for a few seconds on the strip when it is vaguely sweet and green but quickly turned soured. The milk spoiled? It’s now sort of sunscreen and sweet cereal milk. 🤢🤢

Tropiques similarly duped me for a few minutes with pleasant citrus and other breakfast buffet fruit platter selections from my childhood growing up in Hawaii. But, my brain locked in on one fruit note (pineapple~love to eat it; can’t abide smelling like it) and could smell nothing else and to my horror, it soon became paired with superambers. Pineapple Beast Mode Chemical Warfare. I recoiled so far I pulled my neck. You get three 🤢🤢🤢

Finally, Akro Rise will be for many. But it isn’t for me though the initial first wafts from the strip would have fooled me. Softly sweet, vaguely laconic (coconut does this to my nose), but…oh no. More f*cking pineapple!? And? What!? Not again! More Ambroxan dialed up to the heavens for my “viewing” displeasure. 🤢
