Worth every penny.

This review is specific to the "Triple Aged" batch.

I just got my hands on it a while back and it was recently my scent of the evening. I wore three sprays and it was projecting about 2-3 feet for hours. I'm talking 4 hours of incredible projection. Longevity was also insane. I could smell it on my shirt this morning. My lady, and my roommate both commented on it and liked it.

The triple aged batch, in my case, was actually heavier on the citrus and fruity notes. The opening is still that Aventus dna we know with the added depth of the Absolu.

The dry down stayed citrusy and fruity, but dense and loud. Maybe it's just my bottle, but the sauvage elixir like notes, the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and stuff weren't really the stars of the show. It wasn't as deep or dense as some of the aventus absolu's i've smelled, it had a brighter character to it, while also lasting and performing.

This fragrance, and this batch specifically, is still Aventus Absolu. It's not like it's a new frag all together, rather it has some small differences. I will say, the performance is killer on this and I think I may have a grail bottle of this stuff. For me to spray aventus and get an easy 8+ hours of performance, and for it to last healthily on my clothes to the next morning is insane.

Listen if you're going to shell out the cash for an Aventus Absolu, this might be the one to get. The 2025 isn't as good as this one in my opinion, and I recently wore the 2025 for an entire day after a trip to Saks.
