The school I'm currently working at in Hokkaido is a bit sensitive to fragrances, so I thought light sprays of this would go well. No issues! I haven't really been in the mood for this DNA lately, though.

I have two new bottles arriving tomorrow evening actually that I'm SUPER hyped about. Will definitely post updates when they arrive! 😉

    Wait they’re ok with this! Thank god! I was kinda worried when I read the first half of that sentence :0 I wouldn’t want your two loves to compromise each other. I hope you’re having the time of your life there!!!!

      Thankfully there seem to be no issues with this one! Honestly, I can probably wear whatever I want, but I did get "the talk" about it being too strong shortly after arriving and was asked to wear a "a bit less." Figured my safest bet is to rotate between this, Noir 29, L'immensite, Silver Musk, and Orpheon. I've been bringing samples/other bottles in my bag so I can apply what I actually want to wear after work 😂

      It's been pretty nice here, for the most part!! That being said, I'm definitely getting homesick for Tokyo 😂

      Hey I know it’s to be expected, as well as a classroom I guess. But some of my favorite memories in elementary/primary/middle/pre-teen school is nice English school teachers who smelled like White Diamonds and Art teachers who flounced in reeking of patchouli oil….and what I later learned to be cannabis LOL. But respecting cultural norms is so important !

    If you like this, you should try Fragrance du Bois - Lucius. If you haven’t already. It’s somewhat similar to Aventus Absolu, at least to my nose:) it is not too «in your face» either. So a good pick for work.

      I enjoyed Lucius when I sampled it! For some reason, it gives me more Anelo vibes on my skin, but I can definitely see what you mean. Really interested to try Lucius Maximus, as it's supposedly quite similar to Gris Charnel Extrait, which is in my all-time favorites list 👀
