First wear!

...And so far I'm feeling very chic and put together.

Mixed, fresh florals but with no one note jumping out. There's balance, brightness, comfort and an elegant softness, whilst retaining the very identifiable Chanel DNA. A little creamy, a hint of powderiness, a touch of sparkling aldehydes, and very classic in formulation: wouldn't be one for someone who revels in modern perfumery.

Notes are frangipani, freesia, honey and hawthorn (wtf does hawthorn smell like??) - so on paper at least, this is absolutely up my alley. (I can go either way on honey - not a massive fan of L'instant, but enjoy a *very light* application of Tobacco Honey for instance, but in this, I don't get the syrup-y sweetness, just a little golden hint so all good so far.)

Not the best time to test as I'm full of an impending cold (hopefully haven't over sprayed as a result - because I can still smell this!) but applied at 6:30am, and two hours in still feels very much the same scent as on first application - let's see how she goes...
