It’s a nope from me

A tuberose who dabbles in BDSM.

The unique and sweet, spicy floral opening caught my attention and I thought I was going to love this. It’s sweet and bubble gummy, yet dark and alluring with licks of incense, pepper and labdanum.

However after a few minutes of the opening I started to get a sweet, plasticky rubber scent that smells like cellulose acetate and this unwanted note unfortunately stays there for the duration of my wear. Maybe it’s the white floral indoles mixing with the balsam, ambers and labdanum?

As it settled further I got the ylang and a sweet vanilla musks and heavy, heavy floral amber. Yet, even though it’s moved from intoxicating white to softer yellow and ambers, it remains still narcotic. Bubblegum sweet yet something dark and filthy about it. The vibe it gives me? A pink castle, with coquette aesthetic bedrooms but with closets full of skeletons and a basement full of gimp masks and dildos. Definitely not for everyone.

The longer I had this on my skin, the more I disliked it. The scent started to remind me more and more of the coloured scent infused little stones in ashtrays that an old aunt had in her house, used cigarette butts et al.

I can’t comment on longevity because this got scrubbed off after two difficult hours. Somebody, somewhere might find this alluring, sexy and intoxicating.. but it’s a hard nope from me.
