Cozy, comforting, weird.. in a wonderful way.

This opens super sweet and floral meringuey for just a few seconds.

On my first whiff, there was a minute of pungent difficultly as my olfactory system tried to process the synthetics and make sense of what was going on. Only for a few minutes though.. and this no longer happens now that I’ve worn this several times.

It settles into a lovely soft fig milk, dry nutty decissated coconut flakes, powdery star anise, dried fuzzy pear skin and sweet musk mallow on a gentle ambery bed of vanilla & tonka that’s been scattered with a few tuberose petals. Most of those notes aren’t listed but it’s how my nose has interpreted the well blended various synthetics of mystikal, mahonial and ambrettolide.

It’s sweet, milky, cozy, creamy, with gentle spiced powder nuances… and a little bit unnerving, in a weird yet exciting way.

It’s such a soft scent profile, with a present sillage, but it’s other worldly. It’s like there’s something in the blended accord that my nose detects, that shouldn’t work, but it works! Each time I wear this, it demands my nose to take deep whiffs to try and make sense of something that doesn’t make sense. Weirdly beautiful.

This isn’t a profile I lean into for day wear and I’ve only worn it once for a full day for proper sampling purposes. But it’s firmly become a regular rotation in my bedtime pamper perfumes . It’s got fantastic longevity and I love that when I wake up in the morning, I’m greeted again by this wonderful fragrance. Good stuff for sure.
