Giving this new arrival a full wear

Upon first sniff, it certainly began somewhere akin to Another 13, but the piney, citrusy, woody facets separated it pretty clearly from the Le Labo. An ex wore Another 13 all the time and Blue Hinoki didn't really take me there. If anything, a couple of hours in, the prominence of salty hinoki - slowly becoming drier and woodier - reminded me more of Byredo's De Los Santos, which in turn has some similarities to Thé Noir 29... funny how it works. Alas, a full-day wear incoming.
