To me this is mostly freshly squeezed, crisp pear juice, with bitter citrus, and the perfect amount of spicy ginger, woods, and musk. It's absolutely intoxicating and so refreshing. I can see why it's popular. 10/10 scent for spring and summer. It's the kind of scent you can throw on after a shower and start the day feeling fresh, sophisticated, and confident.
Performance is good and it projects well with a moderate scent cloud. I would say this projects well for 4-5 hours on me, but stays on the skin until 9 hours later, though faintly. It lasts through a full day of hot sun and sweat without having to reapply, so I imagine it would do even better in a less extreme setting.
On a side note, I much prefer Blue Talisman EDP to the Extrait. I tried the Extrait on skin at the perfume counter, but found it overly sweet. The Extrait is much sweeter and denser due to the vanilla, and loses the juicy, fresh, transparent quality that makes the EDP so special to me. It's not bad by any means, especially if you want something heavier, but my vote goes to the EDP!
