I can't stand akigalawood, but don't detect too much of it in Blue Talisman. Have you tried Purpose/Decision/Ganymede? If akigalawood is what you want, I'd send you in their direction.

I do really like Ganymede! I haven’t tried Purpose or Decision but am hesitant based on other nuclear Amouage experiences (I prefer NOT beast-mode frags lol)

Purpose is as beast mode as beast mode gets, and as for Purpose 50...absolute chaos. I loathe the scent, but even if I loved it, I couldn't wear it.

I have a weird relationship with akigalawood.. it seems my nose likes it in masculine leaning scents… but in very feminine leaning flowers it makes my queasy. Noses are weird!

To me this is mostly freshly squeezed, crisp pear juice, with bitter citrus, and the perfect amount of spicy ginger, woods, and musk. It's absolutely intoxicating and so refreshing. I can see why
