Black Tie

This is another beautiful Celine vanilla perfume. This time, it's focusing on the smooth vanilla itself, with added nuances of powdery orris, gentle cedar wood and barely-there musk. These notes don't make their presence known individually - they are simply there to enhance the vanilla. If you are seeking a non-gourmand, "pure" vanilla experience, this is the one for you - there is not a whole lot going on here note-wise.

Black Tie is a well-blended, classy, and easy to wear scent. I can see why it's a classic and one of the most popular in the lineup - this is a crowd pleaser that would not be out of place in any weather or occasion. In fact, this would make an excellent signature scent. If you are the type of person to only have a few fragrances and are looking for a versatile, unisex vanilla that can fit in anywhere, I would highly recommend this.

Projection is moderate and lasts for around 2 hours, and it lasts around 8 hours on my skin.

I find it safe and a bit boring for my tastes, as I prefer something with a bit more personality for myself. I can't fault this one for its simplicity, because it is very well done. 8.5/10 rating for me personally.
