Coromandel is stunning, and probably my favourite from Chanel. I also find it a touch feminine, reminding me of some sweet, vintage patchoulis that mum likes to wear

Yeah I got it because I expected it to be similar to PdM Carlisle (which I love) because of the patchouli-sweet DNA. But this is very different. Carlisle is more spicy, masculine and opulent. This one is more elegant, feminine and refined. Still prefer Carlisle but this one sure ain't bad

I didn't like Carlisle at all, it smelt damp and dirty to me. Give Xerjoff Richwood a go. It has a very similiar 'white-chocolate patchouli' vibe to Coromandel, especially once they settle, but less sweet/vintage and more rosy/woody with masculine lean. I was choosing between the two for weeks, but eventually settled on Richwood.

Yeah Carlisle does have that old man's damp drawer thing going on lol. I'm certainly eager to get richwood now, just haven't found it in local places yet.
