You've nailed why I'm feeling content after having finished my sample. Would love a tad of balsamic sweetness - perhaps a pinch of aged patchouli or a dusting of benzoin.

The opening smells very much like my palo santo incense sticks before they're lit - a medium brown, dry, ceremonial kind of woodiness. There's a bitter herbaceousness here too, streaking the brown

Judging from last night's wear, this is unlikely to upset anyone; especially in Taiwan where such 'Asian apothecary' / 'woody antique store' scent profiles are well understood. Full review coming up
