Again, the weather didn’t get the memo about the autumn equinox. Blue skies, sunshine and a pleasant temperature. So a good opportunity to sample a fresh fruity floral. I got excited when I saw a rhubarb note listed.

This is nice. That’s about all there is to say really. It’s reminiscent of a shower gel, body lotion & body spray Christmas gift set you’d pick up in Boots as a stocking filler. Very pleasant but all it’s doing is making me wish I sprayed my beloved L'Imperatrice instead.

      It would have been nice if that was the feeling it evoked, but it didn’t. I actually felt a bit naked with it on, like I had put a fresh fruity floral body lotion on my skin but forgot to spray on perfume?

    Yeah, Ellis Brooklyn always leaves me with this impression — that I’ve just slapped-and-dashed with a bodywash (and not to be extra salty, but not even a terribly good one, at that). :/ And it’s such a shame, because some of their notes sound amazing!
