After trying 42, I had to see if my feelings on this changed...
AmouageDecision4.378 ratingsAnd sadly, they have! I can confidently say that 42 is far more appealing to my personal tastes. This stuff is still fantastic, but the OG is much more bombastic and shouty than 42. It's still fantastic and I think it would be more appealing to younger people, but for my style and as a man in my mid 30s, the darkness, bitter woods, fit me so much more than the punchy sweetness and brightness of the OG.
Still going to finish this bottle before moving on and actually buying 42, but I'm really looking forward to that day!
