It’s very nice. I initially thought it might lean too masculine for my preference when it comes to vanilla, but it softening now.

It’s a gorgeous vanilla, really well made and beautifully blended. It’s a deep vanilla that leans warm and ambery but never cloying. The patchouli was more noticeable on the opening for me but then settles. It’s delicately spiced and the tonka and benzoin bring out the boozy tones of the bourbon vanilla, but not full on booze. The osmanthus adds hints leathery suede facets to it as it soft complex fruity floral emerges in the heart. Really good stuff. I’ll happily use up the rest of the sample but know immediately that it’s not a FB for me. A unisex vanilla that leans a little too masculine for my preference for bedtime vanillas. For context, my top contenders are Diptyque’s Eau Duelle EdT and M. Micallef’s Note Vanilée.

Wait a second... is this a discovery set of different perfumers? This is such a great idea. I love the idea of buying a discovery set to appreciate the works of different perfumers. Is that what this is?

It’s the brand Essential For args but they always have the perfumers names on their scents. So, in a way it is.

Smells gorgeous. Cinnamon, vanilla, and dare I say a hint of tobacco? I know incense is listed. Smells deadlock like Herod by PDM. Medium longevity and projection
