This is one of the best vetivers of all time. Vetiver, like tuberose, has facets and versions of itself that present depending on the origin of materials and context within it is presented.

This one has a nice resinous accord of myrrh and opoponax that seamlessly blends with the soaring, rich, fresh, and slightly green Vetiver they selected. It doesn’t smell Hatian to me nor do I smell vetiveryl acetate. Doesn’t me they aren’t there it just is probably that good dang it!

    Once upon a time, when I was a little baby fraghead, I thought I gave zero sh*tes about vetiver and it was just something I'd see listed that added some "je ne sais quoi" to the perfumes I like—then I was gifted a sample of Ex Vetiver by JHAG, and my understanding of vetiver changed forever! Now I grab at the chance to try new vetiver scents (esp. ones that earn titles like "one of best vetivers of all time"!) Excited to know this exists/ can't wait to get my nose on it!

    Love this! Always appreciate your posts on here 🫶 And love the fragrance too. It’s very close to being a top 10 for me. It also lasts forever on my skin which doesn’t seem to be the case for a lot of people.

      Oh thank you!!!! And yeah it is deservedly ranked highly— I always rank mine by top something but I used over half the bottle and that means it’s beyond the rating system— it slaps!
