Layer Experimenting Continued

SOTD: Acqua di Parma Fico di Amalfi La Riserva × Tom Ford Ombré Leather EDP

Definitely enjoyable, but not quite the seamless layering experience I was hoping for. La Riserva is doing most of the talking—the rich Mediterranean fig, citrus and woods are dominating the scent bubble, while Ombré Leather’s gorgeous jasmine sambac and suede/leather occasionally peek through underneath.

I was hoping for more mixed wafts where both fragrances maintained their identities and played off each other. Instead, this mostly smells like La Riserva with some added leather depth and texture.
