As a RRVH (recently reformed vanilla hater) I was not expecting to like this. There’s beautiful fresh and sweet florals and vanilla. I’ve no idea what a vanilla orchid smells like irl, and none of these notes are listed but I’m getting a custard ylang vanilla in this and in the heart a very gentle hint of fresh and slightly powdery lavender and sweet freesia. Oh, and a pinch of salt. Good stuff! It’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but the nose loves what the noses loves and this was a surprising love at first whiff for me. Super feminine, grown up pretty and a lick of sensuality.
