Savant Manhattan Cherry and Forbidden Apple Croque Moi

Going for the fruit perfumes today in the Chris Collins discovery set.

Savant Manhattan Cherry straight up smells like I poured a bottle of whiskey on myself. Maybe the booziest scent I have ever tried 😅 It's a very strong, bitter smoky whiskey that overpowers every other note on the opening, with a mild sweetness in the background that might be the cherry? I guess I'll have to wait and see how this develops.

Forbidden Apple Croque Moi is a lovely caramel apple scent. This is a lot nicer and more photorealistic to my nose than BGJ's Carousel. This is a juicy, crisp apple note that fortunately doesn't lean shampoo-y, which is a problem I seem to have often with apple. The caramel is a thin outer layer that doesn't overpower the scent and turn it into a foodie gourmand. It does smell like a mild, slightly buttery brown sugar. This is quite reserved for a gourmand. I like that - not too sweet at all. The cinnamon is mild as well, so it doesn't turn into a holiday candle scent either. Everything here is very restrained and well balanced.
