Incense isn't listed, but something in the combination of notes comes across as spicy incense to my nose. It almost gives Alto Astral vibes, but without the coconut and slightly fresher. I don't get as much vanilla as I was expecting, or it might be more accurate to say the vanilla doesn't have the qualities I was expecting. It is not a sweet or creamy vanilla, but rather dry, a vanilla pod husk. I think it is this in combination with the aldehydes and galbanum giving the impression of incense. I prefer spicy and dry vanilla, so this is actually more to my tastes; it is just unexpected. I get no boozy/liqueur effect.
