Badass Gentlemanly Chad

This is the king of modern Fougeres. It’s not quite aromatic, with a nice gassy violet leaf top note, a strong musk presence, a strange freshness and slightly dewy finish.

Luca Turin clarifies, “ambroxan (metallic amber), dihydromyrcenol (gray citrus), and octin esters (green violet leaf) sweetened by a touch of apple up top and sandalwood below.”

I smell perhaps green apple skin, very little ambroxan, and a superdose of both the octin esters and dihydromyrcenol. The dihydromyrcenol is what defines this alongside the violet leaf, but the novelty of this aromachemical in this accord makes this a deliciously gassy fougere like Fahrenheit.
