Now this is the kind of cherry I like! A little dark, a little sweet, just a little tart. Duchessa opens with a strong dark cherry kiss, but it’s quickly joined by a little bit of bitter orange, a little bit of chocolate, a little bit of jasmine. All of them together make this feel super balanced and wearable. Projection wise it doesn’t yell, which is what I prefer. I probably wouldn’t wear this outdoors in high heat but indoors it’s fine and it’d be delicious in cooler weather. I think right now it’s a strong like but on subsequent wears it could become a love.

      It would be a lovely evening scent but because of the almond and florals I feel like it works for daytime too! I’d love to wear this on a fall afternoon, strolling through the park with a hot drink in hand.

      Yeah I quite like it! It dries down to a sweet, floral almond scent after the cherry fades, so I would recommend it to someone who enjoys sweet almond fragrances.
