This is my favorite scent alongside Outlands for Amouage. I find Gyan to be very elegant, but in a smooth lowkey kind of way, not in a loud opulent manner.

Yeah, well said. I think I like it exactly because it's smoother and not as loud as the other fragrances with similar profile.

Gyan (skin): I was expecting this to be a rich, full-bodied patchouli, sweetened with lush white florals and given a subtle citrusy freshness, but it's more like a "white-shirt" scent to me - clean

Minimalism at its best. Jasmine sambac and clean patchouli, with hints of bergamot and incense.

I generally prefer dirty damp patchouli over clean patchouli, but this is an exception.
