Harlem Nights

Harlem Nights is a lovely and complex scent, lightly sweet from the vanilla, boozy from the rum, quite leathery, and woody-spicy. It is super smooth, addictive and hard to describe. The patchouli in this is excellent - deep and not stinky or overly earthy. I get almost a cherry almond note from this, though not quite - I feel like this is the spicier, woodier, more complex niche brother of Lost Cherry, with a lot of added leather. It's got a lot of heavier notes but is also somehow really clean smelling. The creamy, powdery orris, the saffron, clean musks, and the nutmeg make a pleasant and unique combination. This smells to me a lot like a Japanese mall. Weird scent association, but it really does.

Projection is slightly on the strong side and lasts around 2-3 hours for me. The scent lasts on skin for 12+ hours, though it is barely there at the end.

A really interesting, classy scent that I think is unisex leaning slightly masculine. This one is actually quite versatile. I think it would work well year round in the office if sprayed lightly, though it would shine best in cooler weather. It's a great evening and date night scent as well. It impressed me, so it gets a 9/10 rating!
