The rosewood is the first thing to hit my nose, it's rich without being overwhelming, it's not cloying or powdery like a lot of rose fragrances tend to be. The resin note in the middle is like the sticky glue to hold it all together as the vanilla lingers in the base, it's really just perfect; save for one single thing. The longevity is very disappointing. Normally fragrances last once a decent length and this one was gone in no more than 4 hours. If it was cheaper it might not be as big of a problem, but at that price point it's a little weak for my liking. It's for this reason and this reason alone that this review is 4 stars instead of 5.
