Heretic ParfumCoeur Noir3.67 ratingsTesting the third Heretic sample from my discovery set. This is a vanillic amber. There's a bit of benzoin, some labdanum as well. It's somewhat similar to Ambre Sultan in that it's dense and resinous. It's way too heavy for summer, but I'm looking forward to trying this in the fall or winter.

It's simple but beautiful, I just keep breathing deep from my wrist. The rose isn't overpowering while still clearly being identifiable as rose, also not powdery at all which is a big win.
