A witchy rose?

Today's my first full day home after a long trip overseas and I slept through the morning and could go for a nap right now. I'm very jetlagged. To combat this, I busted out the Heretic Season of the Witch discovery set to try another perfume. I'd been worried that Angel's Trumpet would be the only wearable sample in the set. I was wrong. Not only is Dirty Rose completely wearable, it's also pretty nice. There's nothing really witchy about it, though. If you want gothic rose, look elsewhere - there are plenty of great contenders. Dirty Rose's a bit citrusy on opening, a bit spicy-cedary throughout. There's something about it that reminds me of Zoologist's Chipmunk (or maybe another Zoologist?), but I can't put my finger on it. If you like your rose perfumes woody, rather than fresh, you'll probably like this.
