Despite the name, High Tea is not a tea perfume. It's supposedly a gourmand with listed notes of madeleines and macarons, but it's not cloying or heavy in the slightest. Personally, I don't get a particular gourmand note, but instead get 50% ambery vanilla and 50% orange flower water. It also has gentle milky facets and the slightest hint of Chai spice.
To me, it smells quite similar to the OG Burberry Goddess, but replacing lavender with orange flower water. A girly, pretty, delicate, vanilla floral. Very likeable and an easy daytime reach for any season. Also a compliment magnet for me.
Highly recommend if you like Goddess (which I do).
