This might be my favorite vanilla fragrance. The sandalwood and vanilla in the base are the most prominent notes, and overall this has a very classy vanilla/Christmas candle vibe to me. Vanilla so often smells cheap and fake, or it’s paired with notes that are too sweet or bright for my tastes. This doesn’t feel like a gourmand, more like a woody fragrance that brings out the vanilla/beeswax facets of wood, especially sandalwood. I’m about to go get ice cream from Salt & Straw and this is the perfect scent a double scoop on a warm summer evening.

    Ivory Route is rather nice. I detect a large dose of incense too. Once I smelt Filippo Sorcinelli Voix Humaine 8, which is a citrus-vanilla-incense, that sweet incense accord was very noticeable in IR.

      Mmm yeah I can smell a bit of that woodsmoke/incense in it too. Will have to try out the Sorcinelli!

      It's gorgeous stuff. Much more clearly church-like than the Xerjoff, but they definitely remind me of each other.
