D.S. & Durga kinda scares me, but I happened to take a chance on a tiny sample of this from some place online a year or so ago and had been rationing it until I found out I had a long lost uncle who died and left me a fortune or something. I’ve since upgraded to a larger decant, but I fear a full bottle is in my future. This fragrance manages to evoke a rainforest without smelling like straight up grass or an overly musty "aquatic." It steers away from being solely floral, but provides that "Mexican rainforest" vibe with the copal and jasmine…maybe the snake plant too? The combination is humid, green, lush, fresh, and just feminine enough.
