Giving it a full day wear for the first time

I purchased this scent a few months ago and found it to be abhorrently medicinal on first sniff and then way too patchouli forward for my nose. I decided to try it again today on a whim: it’s cooler outside, more humid, slightly overcast - and today I am finally picking up the vanilla that everybody raves about! Today the patchouli is further in the background, which I appreciate. I’m interested in seeing where we land with this scent in a few hours.
