I hated this scent when I first bought it, but the temperature change has me second-guessing?

Everybody on Earth seemed to universally love this scent, and I was on a major vanilla kick, so I blind bought it. On first spray I thought it smelled medicinal, like cough drops, but with a vanilla undertone - it made me physically nauseous. I blamed this primarily on the patchouli note, because I tend to dislike patchouli. I packed it away. I took it out today on a whim (I’ve been forgoing buying any new decants or scents over the last month given we’re going to Las Vegas this week, where I intend on buying some new scents- so I’m running low on exciting options). The cool weather outside seems to have shifted my point of view on the scent, slightly! I still get some of that medicinal-leaning patchouli, but I think I’m starting to see the “boozy vanilla” around the edges that everybody raves about? It’s not my favorite, but I see use cases for this scent in my future!
