Based on the notes I thought I was gonna smell something like Sauvage, but wow this took me by surprise. I do get that SOME familiarity with the Sauvage DNA but that’s not full story here. On first spray it starts off a bit harsh, probably the spices with the saffron. Then it starts opening up into something Oud-like (almost like initio’s Oud for Greatness) which is weird because Oud isn’t listed here, but it’s playing alongside the lavender and the gardenia quite nicely, as if it was like a “fougére meets Oud” type of synergy and it’s amazing, definitely more on the masculine side which is unusual for mind games but either way I’m here for it and I’m definitely committing to a full bottle soon
