If I don’t compare it…

…to the original, I like this. It reminds me of a perfume I have but am having some trouble identifying it (will come to me as soon as I hit “post”).

It’s nothing like the 1912 version which, I adore. This is a modern reinterpretation. Sweet. Powdery. Ozonic. Currently wearing “heavily” on the skin (hope it lightens up—a bit dense to my nose right now).

I need to sit with this one as I do every new pick up. Blind buy for me but Guerlain rarely sends me astray.

    Blind bought it as well, we’ll see how it goes! I actually haven’t smelled the og one, or a lot of Les Légendaires tbh

      Curious how you’ll find it. Since you like l’iris (Santa Maria novella) and powdery compostions like that, I have little doubt the OG would resonate with you. But from the OG line up (with iris) I prefer Apres l’Ondee and Vol du Nuit over OG l’heure. Still, the OG l’heure bleue is a masterpiece in its own right.

      Hmm I gotta test those sometime! And yeah we’ll see how it goes with the new one, it usually takes me a second to properly react to a fragrance haha, that’s how it was with L’Essence and now it has a huge dent

      L’ssence hit my nostrils as amazing from first spray. But usually I have to sit with something for hours-days-even months sometimes. Let me know how you find it when you get your nose on it

    I've been hoping to see more reviews comparing them. The very few I've seen have said they are nothing alike. Your review is the first one to make me curious about getting a sample though

      It softened as it wore on. I will dig through my stuff to try to find what it’s reminding me of. I think maybe a D’Orsay. ???
